I’ve been looking at some photos lately and I wanted to something inspired by that in my art of expression concept. This is more of a study in composition than anything else.

I made this walker robot in Photoshop  –  a great 2d sofware. I used two technique called Life Mimicking and Doodle Filter to speed things up. The piece itself was made in illustrator but rendered in Photoshop.

Two of this pieces are pretty much inspired
by real people that have a rather strong expression shape and face point.


 You can actually train your skill in expression illustration with another technique like "Photo Filtering" or "Photo editing" but there's no better way than training your skill trough manual observation technique.
